What a shame!

Chavez in Spanish king coup jibe
Hugo Chavez said he was not going to shut upThe spat between Spain's king and Venezuela's president took a new turn as Hugo Chavez demanded to know the monarch's knowledge of a 2002 coup.
On Saturday King Juan Carlos told Mr Chavez to "shut up" at a summit in Chile after the president said ex-Spain PM Jose Maria Aznar was a "fascist".
The king was widely applauded in the media back home.
On Sunday Mr Chavez said the king was "imprudent" and asked if he knew in advance of the brief coup against him.
As he left the Ibero-American Summit in Chile's capital, Santiago, Mr Chavez questioned whether Spain's ambassador had appeared with Venezuelan interim president Pedro Carmona during the two-day coup in 2002 with the monarch's blessing.
But I think it's imprudent for a king to shout at a president to shut up - Mr King, we are not going to shut up
Hugo Chavez
"Mr King, did you know about the coup d'etat against Venezuela, against the democratic, legitimate government of Venezuela in 2002?" he asked at a news conference.
"It's very hard to imagine the Spanish ambassador would have been at the presidential palace supporting the coup plotters without authorisation from his majesty."
Spain's El Mundo newspaper quoted Mr Chavez as saying that on Saturday the king had "got very mad, like a bull".
"But I'm a great bullfighter - ole!" he said.
On Sunday, Mr Chavez said he hoped the spat would not damage relations.
"But I think it's imprudent for a king to shout at a president to shut up. Mr King, we are not going to shut up."

Ieng Sary has repeatedly denied responsibility for any crimes

Ex-Khmer Rouge minister detained

Police and officials from Cambodia's UN-backed genocide tribunal have taken former Khmer Rouge Foreign Minister Ieng Sary into custody.
Ieng Sary and his wife, former social affairs minister Ieng Thirith, were driven to Phnom Penh's special courts.
They will appear before judges who will decide if they should face charges.
Ieng Sary was the brother-in-law of Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot. Some one million people are thought to have died under the Khmer Rouge's 1975-1979 rule.
A special court was established last year to bring surviving leaders of the brutal regime to the dock. Trials are expected to start in 2008.
Two senior Khmer Rouge officials have already been charged by the court.
Pol Pot's second-in command, Nuon Chea, and the head of the notorious Tuol Sleng prison Kang Kek Ieu - also known as Duch - both face charges of crimes against humanity or war crimes.

Goodbye Mr. Prince!

Charles Prince, resigned this Sunday as the chairman and chief executive of Citigroup - the largest bank in the US by assets.
Mr Charles Prince, 57, joined the bank in October 2003 to replace Sanford Weill.
But Mr Prince, a lawyer by training, has had a troubled leadership, as costs at the company have risen faster than revenue, raising worries over the bank's profitability.
Doubts over Mr Prince's position intensified after the firm posted a sharp drop in quarterly profits, making it one of the latest victims of the credit crisis.
It - like other financial institutions - has been hard hit by problems in the sub-prime sector, in the wake of a slowing housing market.
In the three months to the end of September, the firm saw profits slump by 57%!!!
How could it be!!! It’s a great quantity of money! I can’t believe that all is Prince’s fault, because of his anxious desire of resign. There could be as ever “mysterious” explanations, like somebody forcing him to quit, so he could appear as the guilty of all the losses… but these are only suppositions… What is a fact, is that actually he isn’t an economist, or even a financial master, he is just a lawyer. He could be an excellent lawyer, even the best of the lawyers, but one thing is law and other thing is money… as one thing is one thing and another thing is another thing jaja (as ibarguengoitia says). I hope this man could be happier now, with a low income (in comparison with the one he had) but with a big smile (because of the lack of stress and work). I think is much better having the life you like, than liking the life you have…jaja. But sometimes it’s the same. My best wishes, not only for this sad man, but also for all the young people which is deciding between a profession that will make them spiritually “healthy” or one that could make them “wealthy”… because maybe Prince had to think the same decision too, but perhaps he took the wrOng way… and here are the consequences… I don’t know, just enjoy your life, please. XD

Release of 7 from 17 prisoners in Chad.. :D

Seven Europeans, four of them flight attendants and three journalists, arrested in Chad on suspicion of child-kidnapping, have flown home, accompanied by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who had flown to the African country to talk with Chad’s authorities for the release of these innocent persons. Ten Europeans, French and Spanish, are still being held, since October 25, because of the attempt to take 103 African children out of the country. The group claim they were Darfuri orphans. Six of the ten persons that still in custody are employees of Zoe's Ark, three others are members of the Spanish air crew, along with a Belgian pilot… by the time, I love pilots. Maybe that’s why I want to be a flight attendant. Well not, it’s only one of the latest reasons, but it’s actually a reason. I don’t know why I am publishing this, but being a flight attendant is what I really want to do in my life, is not only the dream of a stupid pinky winky girl, it’s actually my purpose in life. But this has nothing to do with the news, so… I invite you to look to this page so you can get more information about the seven Europeans that had just been released from Chad’s jails: http://www.jornada.unam.mx/ultimas/2007/11/04/libera-chad-a-siete-de-16-detenidos-por-presunto-secuestro-de-ninos

Y dale con lo mismo? Jaja

Tabasco is under the water, and guess now who is trying to call our attention? I will tell u what he said and you will not only realize who is he, but also you will have the desire of shouting, just like me: “noooo por favor otra vez nooo” jaja…
There is missing a week for the elections in Puebla, and he thinks is funny to say again that “el PAN, PRI y el Partido Nueva Alianza ( I mean, all the parties except his) trafican con la pobreza de la gente al intercambiar votos por despensas, materiales de construcción y animales” Who was the one who was trading with Mexican poverty giving tamales and all a “sarta de ridiculeces” in the center of the city to gain votes? Or u have forbidden all the tv commercials were he put his ugly face telling that he will give you money for free, no matter if u wont work, but only if u voted for him?? Can someone tell me why this man insists on making the ridicule an being the laughingstock of the country??!!
Ahh.. because he had also told, almost crying as an spoiled (ardido) baby: “eso es una grotesca manipulación que anticipa un fraude como el de 2006, cuando Felipe Calderón y el gobernador Mario Marín se pusieron de acuerdo, junto con Elba Esther Gordillo, para rellenar urnas y anular miles de votos que tenía la coalición por el Bien de Todos”. Please overcome it!!! Your 15 minutes of fame has already passed, more than 3 months ago!!!, so keep with you life… and if u don’t have one, just don’t bother the others!
While Calderon is pulling out with his own hands people from the water, all day long, he is still fighting for something that he has already loss. Like a child of 5 years old that doesn’t know the word: looser. And what is he doing for her city, that is in grave danger? Well, according to the news, tomorrow he will make a “trip” (hazme el favor!!!! Un paseo!! Mientras la gente se queda sin patrimonio) through native places of Tabasco, and also, by the afternoon, (no vaya a ser q interrumpa la apretada agenda de una estrella como él) he will have a “meeting” with the damaged people of Villahermosa… What can i tell u? i mean, i dont know if I must laugh or cry… poor Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
